Constructing Nuclear Hexagrams

I was unable to find a simple chart of how to construct nuclear hexagrams, so here’s the unadorned mechanics—

Of a given hexagram, take its 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lines to make the lower trigram of its nuclear hexagram.  Then take its 3rd, 4th, and 5th lines to make the upper trigram of its nuclear hexagram.

Here’s a simple example:

very fascinating. i have had on my mind the last couple of years also this idea of a new arrangement of the trigrams. in fact the new arrangement i considered matches yours. it is just a race back to balance, right?
i do have a request , if i may? on the website the tao bums . i have a thread about the 8 trigrams. may i use your open secret arrangement illustration/ i would give credit to your website here and provide a link

It is, in fact, a race back to balance—a timely return to harmonious collaboration with the Spirit of the Age.
It does not precisely surprise me that you considered the same arrangement of trigrams. I believe a serious investigation arrives at the conclusion that there are only two such possible new arrangements and the other does not match the Spirit of the Age—mandatory if the Oracle is to use it to communicate with human nature.
Feel free to post it with attribution—you may wish to point out its ramifications, as well: when this arrangement of trigrams is substituted for the “Later Heaven” arrangement, it results in a new sequence of hexagrams (“new” in the sense that it differs from the received King Wen sequence of the Chou I). This new sequence of hexagrams forms the structure of my book The Toltec I Ching which was published by Larson Publications in Summer 2009.
I wish you continued success with your researches,
    William
